Acceptance

To accept oneself. Not an easy thing to do. I realize this weekend that It's much easier to worry about pleasing someone that to think of pleasing oneself. To lose yourself in someone in order to forget about yourself for a while. To avoid responsibility. It's easier to take care of somebody else's problems than to face ours. The mirror of truth of Don Quixote. But it is always time to change. Another day another life. To take responsibility. To take responsibility for who we are and to have the courage to live our truth. I guess it comes with maturity. I grew this weekend. I'm getting there. Step by step moment to moment one step at the time. Standing strong and tall.
